I’d argue that “What If You Could Make 6-Figures In Your Sleep While Sipping Mai Tai’s on The Beach?” isn’t exactly unrealistic so much as it hides how much hard work happens before that point.
I personally know people that do exactly that, and still provide a great service to people. But it didn’t happen over night and it wasn’t easy.
I think I fall more into your camp. Eventually I don’t want to work 40 hour weeks, but I don’t want to work 4 hour weeks either. I think there’s a middle ground between those things and, as you say, that middle ground can be a meaningful life and business.
