Karak ecosystem - SLASHPROOF

Hello. This is a first part of Karak(Layer 2 blockchain) ecosystem

And today’s guest is Slashproof. This is a project where you can provide or buy protection for ETH and wstETH. This project is currently in tesntet, so it’s a fantastic opportunity for those who already bridged their assets in Karak and want to participate in ecosystem but don’t have much money right now.

So, to the guide:

1. Open the link https://app.slashproof.org/buy-protection
2. Connect your wallet (most likely metamask)
3. You are now able to see your details in the top right corner like that:

4. Click on “Account balance” and deposit some ETH.

Remeber, it’s a testnet so you will need Goerli Etherium, you can receive that from faucet, e. g. https://www.alchemy.com/faucets/ethereum-goerli

Confirm transaction in your wallet. Then you will see the balance on your KarakTestnet.

5. Buy some protection. Enter amount you want to protect, and any validator index (you can find it on https://beaconcha.in./validators/slashings). Then confirm in your wallet.

6. Provide some protection. Same logic here — chose the amount and confirm in wallet.

You are done! You can mannualy access your assets in “Portfolio” tab and withdraw your funds on the wallet back. Don’t forget to deposit more, as Slashproof is official Karak partner!
