Another in a seemingly endless stream of “improvements” that make the site worse (frankly, Match.com, which owns OKC, is nearly as bad with their terrible decisions). At one time I considered paying for OKC, but the features/interface keeps getting worse (especially through a web browser on my laptop, my preferred method). One bad decision after another that limits flexibility and makes it yet another one-size-doesn’t-fit-anybody site.

As usual, the answer is quite simple: make seeing visitors *optional.* Let each user decide whether they’d like to view visitors or not.

In my experience, women rarely make the first move, neither with an email nor a Like. Seeing Visitors allowed me to see some women I might have missed (or who are hidden from me with the other recent “improvement” of hiding anyone outside the age range- another feature they could have made optional). Most of the Likes I ever get are from troll/scams, so that is pretty much a useless feature anyhow.

If OKC was actually a well-designed site that I found useful, I’d be happy to pay for it. Before being purchased by Match.com, it was probably the best online connection site. It’s been going continually downhill ever since.
