Momentary Drowning, a TouchDesigner algorithm in development since January 2022, captures outputs by manually entering specific functions and coordinates into the algorithmโs parameters. The viewer maintains a delicate balance between planned functions and spontaneous randomness, sometimes aiming for specific results, sometimes enjoying surprising outputs. The name of the project sums up the essence of these moments: an intimate encounter where the artist and the algorithm are left alone for a moment in the creative process.
This digital art project will expand its reach beyond the virtual space with 150 unique editions to be minted on the Ethereum blockchain, hosted on @foundation and curated by @RIGHTCLCKSAVEAS. Each print will represent a snapshot of algorithmic dance, a unique expression of chaos and intuition that will find its place in the digital art landscape.

I embarked on a fascinating journey in the integrity of chaos and intuition in the โMomentary Drawingโ project, which is a perfect combination of algorithms, creativity and personal discovery. In this digital playground where unexpected shapes, colors and systems create a composition in small algorithmic systems; I became a part of the unique patterns created by pixels, textures and systems, discovering the intuitive unity of chaos in these drawings in real time, searching for the tamed beauty that lies in the subtleties of chaos and within me.
The algorithm re-coordinates the weaving patterns within a computer algorithm and recreates them with the first computer art elements. Inspired by the pioneers of the first computer art projects, it brings viewers to life with a depiction of chaos and intuition. At its core, Momentary Drawing celebrates the concept of chaos, a force that is often misunderstood but revered by those who dare to go beyond predictability. Far from surrendering to disorder, the project is a tribute to the endless possibilities that emerge when algorithms and creativity intertwine.

Weaving patterns reflect the spirit of those who paved the way for the digital age, and every system benefits from a chaotic change. I found the meaning in the fact that the small stories in the weaving patterns (designer, producer, materials used and working environment) actually turn into a broad story of general foundations. I read it myself as responsible for expanding the boundaries of what was disrupted during the stages of the project. As a result, after these long stages, a system of chaos intuition was created.
