That reminded me dropping projects every 6 months, too. Does anyone remember Project M? Oslo? Multiple iterations of “Universal”Windows Platform projects? Recent discarding of JSON project file structure?

Anything you learn coming from MS might not exist next year. That could be relatively ok, if those techs were lightly built, instead they tend to be heavy weight beasts.

Also that’s why I believe tooling/frameworks/libs coming from (OSS) communities with real usage rather than MS potentially be more persistent (until MS eats them :)
