“Stop Doing That!” Aka, Yelling At Students
Matthew R. Morris

Sometimes you don’t really yell for the kids. You yell for yourself.

It’s ineffective and ultimately counter-productive. I’ve never really felt positive the next hour or day after losing my shit at a classroom of unruly kids. Oddly, though, there have been occasions when they react positively. Like they appreciate that I can be ruffled.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
