My Laptop Changed My Morning Routine

I didn’t grasp how attached I was to my laptop, till it bailed on me.
It’s been several days since the unfortunate event happened.
The signs had been there.
My laptop had been powering on slowly.
Error messages were popping up, more frequently than usual.
But I ignored them.
I know! I should have taken heed earlier.
Finally, it refused to do anything more.
I rushed it to the repair shop explaining this was an emergency as I hadn’t published my Medium article for that day, but they gave me that had heard it all look before. Casually they took my beloved, it was just another laptop to them. They promised to have a look in 24 hours.
