I am 32 and I do not have my shit together.
Jessica Semaan

I am 33 and I don’t have my life together and I never will. But I am okay with that. No one has their life together. Living is like surfing, just ride the waves as they come. Sometimes you fall off the board and your lungs fill with salt water. Get up, let your cough reflex kick in and get back on the board. The only reason you feel that way is because you are watching other surfers. Just focus on your journey and your wave.

This is my personal definition of success: “Success is not defined by how well you do compared to others. Rather it is defined by how well you do compared to your potential or purpose”. The only person you should be comparing yourself to is YOU! Just make sure you are growing each year.

You also have to understand that life comes in seasons. Understanding your seasons gives you context in life. The only things that God has promised to each of us are: Time and change. We each get 24 hours a day and we are almost guaranteed that tough times will come. But they cannot last because the law of seasons prohibits them from lasting forever.

Understand your seasons!
