Our lives are set in motion every single day. From the moment we wake up in the morning, to going through with our daily routines and activities, up till the silence of the night where we eventually lay back on our comfy warm beds for a good night’s sleep.

For a good chunk of my life, I found myself repeating the same cycle day in and day out. Things like attending classes in school, taking the same train to work, finding the same friends to hang out with, cooking the same dinner all week, and the list goes on.

Well, our life seems to be progressing as planned, even when we are not conscious about it. At least not until we arrive at certain inflexion points in our lives. You will know it immediately when you come across them. These are the defining moments where we are nudged by a strong desire in our hearts for something more in our lives.

It can be an ambitious goal we want to achieve or a desired state we hope to attain. Needless to say, the initial struggle of starting something is often the greatest hurdle we have to overcome. Standing right in front of us is this mysterious, foot-dragging feeling called “inertia”, staring down at us with a firm grip on our bodies.
