January 01, 2018

(Starting my first monthly challenge)

I have started this monthly challenge to get out of my comfort zone while learning new skills.

Why Freelancing?

I am starting freelancing as my 1st challenge because:

  • It will help me to add value in different individuals life
  • I love to connect with individuals from varying backgrounds
  • I will have a platform to test my skills
  • It will help me to earn some extra money

I have already created an account on fiverr so i will use it for my freelancing challenge. I will try to serve 30+ clients in 1 month to ace this challenge.

My Skills:

I will cover following life skill topics in my gigs:

  • Self-Awareness
  • Decision Making
  • Problem Solving
  • Art of Focus

  • How to become a peak performer?
  • How to break bad habits? etc

(Exploring the fiverr forum)

Reading different answers, i found that:

(Adding gig images)

(Motivating Myself)

I have not worked on this challenge for last 2 days. I am unable to attract any customers and this is a bit demotivating. But:

“If you want lasting change, you have to give up this idea of just trying something and you have to commit yourself to mastery. That means not just dabbling but fully immersing yourself. Because your life is not controlled by what you do some of the time, but by what you do consistently” -Tony Robbins

So, i have to totally immerse myself into this challenge.

“Trying to do things they can’t yet do, failing and learning what they need to do differently is exactly the way that experts practice” -Angela Duckworth

Also, i have to change the way i am approaching this challenge.

(Consistency is the key)

Accomplishing any goal is all about consistency and commitment. My monthly challenge is lagging both of them. Today, i read few articles on how to get first freelancing clients and learned the following:

  • Identify your unique skills and strengths
  • Target the right market
  • Connect with potential clients
  • Frame an offer they can’t refuse
  • Give, give, give, ask

I should reflect on these points to get my freelance clients
