Mystic Party
Parties are always fun either with friends or family. But an orthodox family does not allow freedom for partying. It’s scary too. That you either get caught up. So, the party is always done during the absence of your family or relatives. We too had hidden fun with our friends.
The weather was lovely with a chill breeze. The party started in the evening with friends and their kids with an overnight stay. You can guess it was a hidden party so every staff member and person had to be hidden for the next day.
The party was a “Hookah Party/ Shisha Party”. A neat fun without any hardcore drinks or cigars. We just had a traditional cigarette :) “Hookah”. It consists of a yummy Pan flavour.
You must be thinking what is Hookah?
Hookah is also known as Sisha. It is an instrument for vaporizing and smoking flavoured cannabis. The smoke or vapour is passed through the basin often glass-based before inhalation. There is also a pipe attached to it which would help you to inhale the flavour.
We had just sat down to start the party. As it was cold, I had prepared some blankets to wrap around. A single blanket especially for me. The blanket made us feel cosy and warm. Guys were preparing the Hookah. We had prepared chips, popcorn, dry fruits, Hookah and water for snacks. There was Soup and Garlic bread for dinner. Refreshments for kids were Frooti(A mango flavoured Juice). Top Bollywood songs were eventually being played to set the mood.
Time flies when you start having a chit chat with your friends. The conversation heats up where there are newlyweds couples. And those who are in their courtship period. It is quite fun teasing them. Teasing others with their ex-girlfriends or boyfriends.
Circles of smoke inside the room. Some having hookah in their hand rest with some snacks. Some of them even had Frooti with them. Hookah and snacks were never-ending. As the conversation was interesting. One topic ends some other fresh topic adds on. None of them were sleepy. When the clock struck 12 pm we knew now the party had to come to an end.
No one was happy as we were having fun. Our mind and body were relaxed. No one had their dinner. But dinner was ready and no was hungry. We were full because of the snacks and conversation.
Slowly we started wrapping up pieces of stuff and minimizing the music. Beds were being ready for the kids to sleep in a single room. We all got up from the sofa. Cleaned and cleared the house. So that our maid doesn’t notice the dirt. We didn’t let her freak out seeing the utensils as we used paper plates.
The fun came to end and everyone went to sleep. This moment can cherish a lifetime.
Hope this party can be organized twice in a week.:)
