That’s a great question. I am not sure why they did that because I really like your ideas for what they could done. I think maybe it is because they didn’t want to clutter things with too much visual ornamentation on the page. If they had done that, it might have been too much or it was that they want to make that element on the page stand out the most. So it could be because either it’s a new design and they want people looking at it or that’s what they are trying to sell the most of or maybe even both. I have always been a fan of Kate Spade and I know that they base their sales around holiday events, so it’s probably a top priority to push spring styles for Mother’s Day since it is right around the corner.
