No, it is not. Of course it isn’t. Everyone is entitled to want space for themselves, and it doesn’t mean anything about others. You may not like it, because you may reject the idea that being born XX and raised female doesn’t make a real difference, but that’s your problem.

The Michigan Women’s Music Festival (or do they spell it wimmin?) was explicitly trans exclusive. I probably could have gone there, because I pass middling well and did so even more when I was younger. But why would I do that? How rude is that? It’s their friggin’ event. If they want to exclude transwomen (and I’m talking *actual* transwomen, post-op and all), I might think they’re jerks, but it’s their *right*.
