As a Fullstack alum who was part of the first Remote cohort, just wanted to say hello and congrats for surviving junior phase! That’s no small achievement. ;) Best of luck with senior phase and feel free to reach out if you need anything!!

I’m now faced with the task of getting notifications to pop up even when the React Native app is in the foreground, and I was wondering how you managed this with the NativeAppEventEmitter. What did you attach it to and what event were you listening for?
I feel like this a lot as well, and I’m sure many, many other people do as well.
I’ve had previous students at my bootcamp tell me that one of the biggest challenges they encountered throughout the program was just trusting the process and the instructors because, like you said, you’re being thrown information at a pace like…
Thanks for the kind words! :) Definitely go at the pace you’re comfortable at — I burned out after a while from how exhausting that schedule was, so I’m probably not the best example! Everyone works differently, so finding what works for you is more important than what your schedule actually is.
For me, CSS is one of the hardest things I’ve encountered about programming. I’m not sure why, whether it’s because it requires you to think a little differently or something else, but it’s something I have a much harder time wrapping my head around!
