Wolverhampton beat Luton Town 2–1

Hwang Hee-chan Wolverhampton scored in four months.

Wolverhampton won 2–1 in the 35th round of the 2023–24 English Premier League EPL against Luton Town at Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton, England, at 11 p.m. on the 27th.

Wolverhampton started by Jose, Nelsong Semedu, Matt Doherty, Maximilian Kilman, Toti Comes, Mario Lemina, Hwang Hee-chan, João Gomes, Boubacar Traore, Rayan Ait Nouri and Matheus Cunha.

Luton Town had a chance. In the fifth minute, Ross Barkley attempted a powerful right-footed shot from outside the penalty box and it was saved by Saga. Wolverhampton fought back. Luton Town pulled one back in the 34th minute. The ball from the corner connected into the box and Morris volleyed in to chase. However, the game ended in a 2–1 win for Wolverhampton.

Hwang Hee-chan, who played full time, scored his first goal in 2024 and his 11th in the league in about four months. After scoring multiple goals in the 19th round against Brentford in December last year, Hwang scored the first goal in six matches.
