This is well written and suspenseful for certain, David. I wish that the masses saw the risks of the AI tech to which (to whom?) they are so willing to give control over their lives. Your stories make me want to go old school with my thermostat, but I'm not ready to go old school with my phone. I took back my doorbell already. ;)
