Three simple habits that will change your life: side affect, it will transform others too.

Did you know that there is an entire group of neuroscientists who study happiness? Here are some simple habits that will transform your life and the lives of those around you.

Simply incorporate these three things into your life, one at at time. Pick one and do it for 21 days until it is a habit. Add the second and then the third.

  1. Put a journal next to your bed and write down 3 things you are grateful for every morning.
  2. In the same journal before bed write down something that happened during your day that was meaningful.
  3. Tell one person in your life every day why you appreciate them, why they matter to you.

It is scientifically proven that when you start and end your day with gratitude, you scan the world for good all day long. As a kid when my mom made me go and write a list of what I was grateful for I would mutter my way to my room. Turns out she was right.
