HOW TO SETUP FACEBOOK ADS

For the ads we need to follow some steps. First you need to create whole new page.

Step 1 – Choose Ad Type

The first thing to do in the Facebook, click the ‘’create’’ in the upper middle of the screen, the menu is set in the open position After clicking on these pages you will see a page for your ad types and campaign objective.

Step 2 – Choose Your Objective And Give Your Campaign A Name

When you get to this page you need to choose your objectives.
The purpose of selecting these objectives is to show to Facebook what your interests are, so they can show you with the best ad options.Choosing your objective is important, as Facebook uses this to optimize your campaign in the most efficient way. The options include:

  • Brand awareness
  • Local awareness
  • Reach
  • Traffic
  • Engagement
  • All installs
  • Video views
  • Lead generation
  • Conversions
  • Product catalog sales
  • Store traffic
  • Messages

Campaign Names:

We need to give our campaign a name. İt seems simple but really important step.Once you’ve started Facebook advertising, you can easily organize your campaigns while you’re scaling and running.

  • Client name/ website : Take your time to come up with a creative title for website that means to most to you and is releatable with your audince.
  • Target Audience/ Location: Target ads at people based on a location. Most objectives let you target worldwide.
  • Custom Audiences: Custom Audiences are target audiences of people you already know created from information that you provide or from information generated on Facebook’s products.
  • Creative Type ( Video? Carousel?)
  • Facebook Page, etc

Step 3 — Set Up the Audience Targeting Budget Pricing

For the next step, you need the choose your target and set up the custom audience.Targeting the right people with your ads is one of the secrets of being successful in Facebook ads.You can create retargeting audiences using the Custom Audience feature, located in the Audiences section of Business Manager.

you have two options:

  • Create a new Facebook target audience.
  • Use a Saved Audience.
This is my ‘’Use a saved audince’’ options

But if you going to create new one you need to follow his steps:

You can choose ‘’Custom Audience or Lookalike Audience’’ (I chose Custom Audience)
Just choose your custom audience and save.

And the budget, you have 2 options:

  • Daily: A daily budget that you’ll spend every day.
  • Lifetime: A lifetime budget that you’ll spend during the lifetime.If you’re looking to run your ad for a specified length of time, select lifetime budget. This means Facebook will place you spend over the time period you set for the ad to run.

Choose daily budgets when:

  • Your campaign will be evergreen
  • You want to maximize strong performance
  • You expect to change your budget regularly

Choose lifetime budgets when:

  • You need run your ads on a schedule
  • Your campaign has a set budget and end date

Step 4 – Create Your Advert

This part is really fun.Because you going to choose your image,video,gif etc…texts,copys.You have options,you can use existing posts or you can create a new one.

There must be a photo that can support your ad.

Choose to use original and personal photos.

Use CTA on your copys.

İf you run into problem like that : You need to choose your images or videos format

Image specs:

  • Recommended image size: 1200 x 628 pixels
  • Image ratio: 1.91:1
  • To maximize advert delivery, use an image that contains little or no overlaid text.

Video specs:

  • Format: .MOV or .MP4 files
  • Resolution: at least 720p
  • File size: 2.3 GB max.
  • Recommended aspect ratio: widescreen (16:9)
  • Facebook: 60 minutes max.
  • Instagram: 60 seconds max.

Step 5 – Choose Your Ad Placement

Advert placement defines where your advert is shown.Adverts may shown Facebook’s mobile News Feed, desktop News Feed and right column.

Instagram

Audience Network

  • Native, banner and interstitial

Step 6 – Place Your Order

Now, your ad is ready to run. Click “Order” in the bottom right corner of the page.
