Hi, Constantin. Yeah that is a pretty poorly worded sentence, and I should think of a way to rewrite it. The two facts are true, but the second does not flow from the first, so it’s confusing. Really the only thing it needs to say is that the second address is not connected on the local segment, so the packet is forwarded and ultimately trapped by netfilter. Thanks for the response.
