I am always encouraged by the honesty of these posts. Finally I have found a forum where I can relate and talk honestly. I think we need to remember that we have only been co called civilised for 4000 years before that we were arguably more animal, thus we should always acknowledge the huge part of ourselves that is neither rational nor logical but only there as an instinctual survival mechanism. These impulses are still there to help us in a dark alley, just hard to switch off when not required. I have learned to thank my impulses for keeping me safe but then immediately to challenge them as often as I can. Thank you for a great post.
