Class Action Lawsuit: Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour Late Starts Created Inconvenience and Harm to Fans
Beyoncé may be one of the most beloved performers in the music industry today, but she’s also one of the most tardy when it comes to performing her concerts as planned. This isn’t just a case of tardiness; it’s a case of due negligence, deceptive fraud, and a complete disregard for her fans.
Despite tickets having a start time of 7 PM, Bey often started her shows way past 10 PM (without an opening act) on some nights, leaving fans stranded with no transportation, food, water, and other things they didn’t expect to miss after attending a concert. Some got very sick while stranded in the rain.
Surely, Beyoncé isn’t the only performer who begins her shows way past the ticket time. However, the media keeps telling us that “Beyoncé kept fans dancing in the wee hours of the morning” instead of telling us the truth: She flippantly disregarded their well-being.
There are many interesting threads on Reddit that discuss the situation. But the reality is that there is absolutely no excuse for Bey’s behavior. Here are the start times for several of her tour dates in North America.
It’s important to note that Chicago, Atlanta, and many other cities had severe wait times — often past 10:30 PM — without an opening act. There have been many complaints about Beyoncé’s lateness all over social media.
Beyoncé’s lateness has gone on for several years. Fans have called her out, but she hasn’t changed her behavior. This is why we are putting together a class action lawsuit to file against Beyoncé, Live Nation, and any venue where she played at. They are all responsible.
We are going to use a very popular and effective law firm to file this lawsuit. The goal is to get a partial refund (at least 50 percent of the price for the concert ticket) for those who attended her concerts that started over 90 minutes late. For now, we are just concentrating on the Renaissance Tour.
We need a certain number of ticket buyers to file this lawsuit. Please send us your name, proof you attended the concert, and the inconvenience the lateness caused you to BeyonceClassAction@gmail.com. We will not publish your name, so there’s no reason to worry. Take action now!
We will keep you up to date on the progress of the lawsuit. We are looking to file it by the second week of February, but that depends on how fast we can get all the names. Please spread the message to all the people you know who attended Beyoncé’s late shows.
