I stopped using my kindle a long time ago because the 6" screen sucks. There was no real alternative, so I went back to paper books. Most of which I buy from Amazon, so they’re getting my money either way. I was excited when I first heard about the Aura One coming out, because of the big screen. Then I realized that the Overdrive integration isn’t going to do me any good, because I live in a small town, and while our library does ebooks, they have maybe 800 in their collection, the vast majority romances I wouldn’t read if you put a gun to my head. So I continue to reside in the Amazon reading universe. Is there some reason these screens are so ridiculously small though? I love the experience of reading a good trade paperback (6" X 9"). How hard would it be for Amazon to make a Kindle that size (the actual screen, not just the device)?
