You can easily find the info on Google. Even China, the “Coal Titan” is easing down on coal. I recently visited India and from what I learned, coal is still strong but does not provide enough solutions to tackle the problem of grid infrastructure.

Also, in Germany we are looking to implement more sustainable energy into our power-system. While expensive now, these investments will provide their real value over time.

And Energy is not about renewable, but about sustainable. Coal os not sustainable and will not have a shining spot in future energy supply mix. Maybe this might take more than 5 or 10 years, but building new coal plants will evoke costs that are only supportable over a longer time period.

Coal might not be dead, but it is already dying.
