Jacqueline Fernandez to Start Shooting for Dishoom in Abu Dhabi

When a huge portion of the project “Dishoom” has been shot in Morocco, Jacqueline Fernandez, along with Varun Dhawan and John Abraham, has kick-started her next shooting in Abu Dhabi. On January 27, the whole cast of the project, including director Rohit Dhawan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala, were invited for a royal lunch at the palace of HH Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Culture Minister.

With Culture Minister, the “Dishoom” team had a long discussion about Abu Dhabi, India and the film. The team will shoot the film at different locations in Abu Dhabi and the schedule will last 40 days. HH Sheikh has ensured smooth schedule for the team “Dishoom” in the city.

Producer Nadiadwala reported that they are having great fun shooting for Dishum in the amazing locations of UAE capital that matched tremendously with the script. They visited all around the world before deciding Abu Dhabi. Twofour54 is the entertainment and media free zone in Abu Dhabi. Its COO, Maryam Al Mheiri added that they are happy to welcome the production team of Sajid Nadiadwala to the city to shoot Dishoom. Abu Dhabi has always been the best choice for Indian film producers with several major releases like “Baby”, “Bang Bang”, and “Dishoom” over the past couple of years.

Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun and John will be sharing screen for the first time. Along with Jacqueline, Varun and John, the lead cast, Dishoom also features Saqib Saleem Qureshi and Akshaye Khanna in main roles. In addition to that, the fans will also get a surprise appearance of Nargis Fakhri. The film “Dishoom is scheduled to be released in July.

Along with Dishoom, Jacqueline has also signed two other projects. First one is “Flying Jat”, starring Tiger Shroff, directed by Remo D’Souza and produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Another one is opposite Abhay Deol, Jackie Chan and Amitabh Bachchan. It is an Indo-Chinese flick named “Gold Struck”. She has also completed the schedule for English-Sri Lankan crime thriller directed by Chandran Rutnam, “According to Mathew”. She also made a Hollywood debut in “Definition of Fear”, a horror thriller.
