Manipulation —Bitcoin, Structures and Anomalies Found

As of writing this, Bitcoin is worth $7,625.20 and has a market cap of $130,189,233,460, as per coinmarketcap.com.

Many of the anomalies I have identified were movements that are only a few hundred dollars. The structures I have identified are detected by a pattern of large movement in a short window of time, followed by a range of extremely low volume, followed by a move in the opposite direction as the initial impulse, with an equivalent amount of price movement.

All of this is theoretical. I have no way of proving that what is going on is fraudulent, however, the pattern occurs quite often and appears to be abnormal.

I have concluded that there are 3 possibilities. 1) a large player is manipulating, 2) it is coordinated among multiple exchanges, or 3) rogue bots are not able to react to market conditions.

Here are some snapshots:

The average impulse amount for the 58 impulses sampled was $343.52.

Here are some market snapshots:

This is a bullish manipulation structure:

This is a bearish structure:

Bearish Structure Ex. A
Bearish Structure Ex. B

This is what I am calling the Spider, a bear -> bull -> bear, movement:

Spider Structure Ex. A
Spider Structure Ex. B

I have found that bearish moves happen far more often than bullish moves.

Anyways, this is just a snapshot glance at what I have been researching. Please feel free to comment.
