EDGY Night?

Tonight was an interesting night of projects in Intro to Graphic Design Theory. We had a few setbacks to starting the critique of our logo design project, we were introduced our letterpress project, and started our group project on brand presentations.

The logo design project to me was a success, I understand about the comments on using type in my logo, I just wish there was more feedback then that honestly. But I loved a few of the logos, some could have been put into a computer program to look more final, but other than that I think it went well.

Creating I think the letterpress project should be solid. Taylor, Jake, and I are planning on combining our letters to make a word of some sort. That should be cool, yo. I think I want to use an A, W or M. because I think I could do something shnappy with a symmetrical letter.

Our Brand Presentation is going to be so sweet. We were assigned the design problem of creating some boards for the snowboard company named EDGY. This should be pretty interesting if it goes how I think is should. we are pretty set at creating a product for their specific market that also combats the competition’s look.

When your logo design is at its simplest, it’s probably at its strongest.
