Lazy & unreasonable

the value of the indolent

How do ideas work? The evolution of ideas, independently, organically in various parts of the world has been catalyzed by the global interconnectedness effected by travel, internet, and other modernities. We get to see repeated experiments of society v. society, religion v. religion, and idea v. idea.

The world moves forward because of the industrious; it moves upward because of the indolent. It is within reason to adapt to your environment and provide what it demands of you—to make the most of what you have. It is unreasonable to refuse to comply, to demand more than society deems you worthy of. But great accomplishments are all unreasonable.

The industrious and the indolent hold each other in contempt; each doesn’t realize the value of the other.
