Firstly Congratulations to you for the upcoming wedding. Rest assured you will make a wonderful bride! Don’t forget to wear the best jewel, your smile, on the wedding days (Indians have a big fat wedding spanning days!).

If you have been struggling to find the perfect outfit or accessories for the wedding functions in Bangalore do not worry. Been there done that!

I will list all the wonderful places that I found out while shopping for my wedding. From fabrics to accessories, footwear, handbags, dupattas, and most importantly a good tailor to get your custom outfits stitched.

Below are the various places I visited for different items:

Lehanga

Mayeeka in Jayanagar for wedding lehanga. I also bought a lehanga for my sis in law which was quite good and was appreciated by all. You can find all kind of trendy indo western, ethnic dresses, sarees, lehangas, kurtis in this store. They have an in house tailor who stitched my lehanga blouse quite well.

This is where I bought my wedding lehanga from. It has amazing collection of normal and bridal lehangas (Image Credits: Google)

Next I picked up a saree from Harshini (previously known as Varsiddhi) in Jayanagar. The saree is an absolute beauty.

Koski in commercial street has bridal as well as non bridal lehangas, gowns, ethnics. There are many showrooms for koski in Bangalore.

Mannat in Commercial also has good range of ethnics.

Soch has certain designer sarees but they are a bit expensive. I purchased during sale season so got good designer sarees in 1.5k — 2k range.

Indya in commercial street for small wedding functions and good trendy indo western clothes.

Mohey also has good collection of ethnic gowns.

M.K Novelty and Raja Market in Chickpet for floral jewellery.

Kushal Jewellery has many stores in Bangalore (This is a bit on the expensive side unless it is Sale time).

Commerical also has many shops for accessories though you will have to bargain to get the best price.

Footwear

I wanted a comfortable and not so glittery one so I bought a comfortable golden heel from Central Mall.

Mochi, Metro shoes and Sach (Commercial Street) have good collection of heels.

Lifestyle and shoppers stop also have good collection of clutch bags and handbags.

Silk Sarees

If you want to buy Silk Sarees I would suggest to visit Sudarshan Family Store in Chickpet. The range of sarees starts from Rs 500 going to lakhs. Each price range has a different counter and you can choose from a variety of options. Bridal sarees as well as sarees for gifting can be bought in bulk from here.
