On-Demand = Millions of Entrepreneurs?

Uber’s plan of unveiling a range of on-demand services, fulfilled through crowdsourcing will change economies in the long run.

Economists are doing deep research on how technology will lead to mass unemployment, since machines will replace humans in every industry, but wouldn’t startups/institutions like Uber fill that gap?

The existing low risk mindset of employees who derive fixed income with incentives based on KRAs would be replaced with working and earning based on tasks (orders) from opportunities provided by Uber and others.

Hard and smart work will truly determine income.

The on-demand industry will create millions of ‘entrepreneurs’, ones who work for themselves.

Thousands of commoditized businesses will be able to offer on-demand services, while outsourcing fulfilment.

Let’s think about it!
