I must confess, I am recently obsessed with Instagram and Snapchat stories. I think it gets real as compared to someone posting videos, images on these social media channels with meaningful tags and impressive edits and appealing content.

So why am I obsessed with these stories?

Firstly they give us a digital window to see the world the way we see it in real. Like impressive stories from brands, sharing live videos of behind the making of a product, or say showcasing people who work for the brand or the new campaign teasers. What not, one can do so much with stories. And the best part of stories is that, it can and must be raw, and it will disappear within 24 hrs. You don’t need to polish or perfect your content. The rawer it is, the more it’s realistic to associate for your consumers. Which just gets better. So, if you are building a brand, and if you have not yet explored Instagram and Snapchat stories, it’s high time u get started.

Now Instagram is bringing ads to stories, brilliant for the Advertisers!

Lovely part of this is that there is nothing right or wrong about stories. They are just stories waiting for people reactions. Also, I think these marketing platforms must also support audio stories, it will just get more interesting from here on. I can’t wait to see how creative and crazy you will get as you try navigating your way by experimenting with these platform new features.
