TGIF, But…

I am generally really excited about three day weekends, but this three day weekend is particularly important to me. Memorial Day, is a holiday remembering the people who died while serving in the country’s armed forces. Too many familiar faces I will never see again, and too many, whose names come up in the past tense. So, what does this holiday mean to me? It means, I get to honor my brothers and sisters, who cannot be here with me. It means, I can truly appreciate what I have because someone else put his/her life on the line, so I can enjoy the freedoms we take for granted too often. You are, and will always be, missed.
