wearing a new york city hat — what’s that like?
I recently acquired a teal New York City baseball cap from one of my person’s work people. It is pretty sturdy and it’s nice to have a hat to shade my eyes, put light pressure on my head, and protect my glasses from water drops. But it is a New York City hat and I think that’s embarrassing. What does wearing this hat mean?
Maybe wearing the hat means:
- Here’s my cool hat from a cool place that I didn’t even visit
- I could be from this other place that’s not Texas — as you can see I have this hat
- I’m a hat person and I’m showing off my collection, hope you enjoy :)
- Hey Trump supporters — shoot this hat off of my head
- I’ve completely given up on life and I’m going to be a hat person from now on
- I’m always traveling to different places — as you can see I have this hat from my most recent trip
- I love New York and know everything about it. Let me try to control your life. → you really need to see the statue of liberty and eat this giant piece of food or whatever
- I want to seem athletic
- I’m a mainstream fashionista!
- Yeah, I can tell you a lot of boring stories
- I’m obviously really lame
I think I’m going to wear this hat right now and stop thinking about it.
