I believe that politics are and always have been important (so kind of D). I believe that politics is about cooperation and working together for the good of the country. However, political parties have warped the system to focus power in their respective ranks. I grew up in a conservative home and while I have many conservative views, I do not identify with the Republican party because it has been overrun by ideologues and their 30 min. sound bytes. Unfortunately, I’ve also concluded that the Democrat party is similarly infected (though probably not to such an advanced stage).
