India is the land of agriculture. 70% of the total land area is covered with agriculture. Farming is the main occupation here. Over 65% to 70% of people are farmers.Like, farming India is also famous for its culture and tradition too.

One of the oldest and the most unique cultures in all over the world is known as Indian culture. Here we can see culture in languages, clothes, religion, tradition etc. If you visit India you can see their attire, language, and the unique way of their celebration. Which varies from each state or town even.

In India you see different religions.India is the birthplace of religions like Hinduism, Jainism, Christian, Buddhism and others also. These are famous religions in India but all over them Hindu is the oldest one and Hindu religious people are there in a lot of quantity. We can see “Unity in Diversity” here. The people of India belong to one particular religion but they are involved in each other too. Where is it in celebration of festivals or other rituals, they never hurt other’s feelings. They work in unity, they fight for their rights in unity and they achieve goals in unity. Whether they are Hindu or jain Or other.

Indian culture involves Yoga, celebrations of festivals, ethics, clothing, customs , art and craft and technologies. Many elements of Indian culture also have influenced the world too. Like food, mathematics, philosophy etc. Indian people celebrate religious and regional festivals too. Diwali is the main Hindu festival celebrated here. It’s also known as the “Festival of Lights”. The regional festivals like Onam( a boat race) are especially celebrated in Kerala. Buddha Purnima is the religious festival celebrated by Buddhism. In all there are a lot of celebrations of festivals but all are involved and enjoy.

The Indian popular culture in music and dance also is famous. Classical music and Modern music are forms of music. Religious songs, modern songs, romantic songs others are also famous here. Not only in music but Indian dance forms are also known worldwide. There are a total of 28 states here. Like their languages their dance forms are also famous state wise. Maharashtra -Lavani, Gujarat-Garba, Punjab-Bhangra etc. these are regional dance forms but they are not away from hip-hop, free-style, jumba and other.

Indian beauty and the breathtaking scenery attracts people from worldwide. The mountains, the peaks, the valleys, the temples, the monuments etc. are exclaimed the people. We can say it is the culture also. India is the country where everything is like heaven.

A traditional food of Indian States is also Indian culture. “Atithi Devo Bhav”. this saying/quotation means that guests are God for us. Just welcome and treat them like God. The most famous traditional foods from India are famous Worldwide. South Indian food, North Indian food. Idli-dosa sambar from South, Puran-poli from Maharashtra, Daal -baati from Rajasthan, Litti -chokha from Bihar are famous traditional foods from India. No other country in the world is as famous as India in spices. Without spices, food is tasteless for them. They are different by blood but they are united by culture and tradition.
