I think of it as playing with Lego. You have a rough idea about what you want to build, then you break the idea down and try it out and represent the same in multiple ways. Ofcourse during the process, you are constantly searching the mental repository of the experiences, ideas and information you’ve been exposed too. In a way, with more representations, your own mental diet is becoming more refined.
