You’re the CEO! Hire Pain as Your Employee

When we encounter pain, we normally don’t know what to do with ourselves. To some of us pain is familiar and we tend to have methods to our madness once he comes into town. Some of us cry our eyes out, we vent and complain, we become depressed and anxious or for some we shut down. To others, pain may be foreign, so when it hits — we expression may not be so controlled and usually emotions go haywire. No matter who you are, we all experience or have experienced pain at some point. So makes someone different?

How you handle what you experience determines the outcome.

As CEO’s, how do we stop running from pain and allow it work for us? Well first we have to reframe our idea of pain.

PAIN can be an AID or CONDUIT for trans-formative experiences. How? There two types of people in the world — those who run from and those who sit with. Where do you fit?

As the CEO, you should HIRE Reasoning with Pain. Learn to sit pain down and ask what the lesson is. Then, you should FIRE permanent infiltration. Let Pain be a visitor but you are the Host. Learn when to kick him out and don’t let those roles switch. After, let Negative paradigms RETIRE because we don’t want pain to change our core. Remain who you are with added wisdom. When all is said and done, PROMOTE HIGHER the view of pain and its power so that we re frame pains’ positions in our life. Its a Gift.
