IN PROGRESS-Should the UK do away with predicted grades?

A recent debate has come to light in lieu of the UK’s results day. Teachers, students, and now the University and College Union (UCU) are vying to rid the UK’s educational system of predicted grades.

The argument against predicted grades stems from statistics that report 16% of predictions for three A-levels or equivalent being accurate, a number upon which the UCU has called for action. The UK is the only nation which uses predicted grades
