I have always loved this movie and while it feels dated now, there is so much that it gets right. The only thing about it that I could never get past is I feel like Juliette Lewis is completely miscast. I just never bought that Ralph Fiennes would be hung up on her. The sound of her voice would drive me insane after 5 minutes. But Angela Bassett is fantastic in it, and Michael wincott has never been sleazier. I hope Cameron and Bigelow eventually put it out on Blu-ray, the transfer on the DVD I have from the 90s is god-awful.
