This was exactly my response. Kyrie to the Spurs makes all the sense in the world — and no sense at all. No question Kawhi would benefit. Dude stepped up his offensive game last year, but assuming that load cost him on the defensive end, as reflected in his noticeably higher ORPM and lower DRPM. Having a guy like Kyrie would allow Kawhi to focus on defense again.

OTOH … no way a guy who’s leaving the Cavs because he wants to the Alpha is going to fit in with Pops. Just don’t see it happening.

PS: No way is Kyrie a top-5 PG. Top-10 … maybe.
