Thanks for the thoughtful response. In my experience it really depends on the stage. In a true seed round you really don’t have much metrics to show (they are all BS anyway and a good investor knows that). It’s all about selling your vision and metrics actually detract from that. If you are raising a larger seed or series A then metrics will (rightfully) dominate more. Sure some investors care a lot about metrics at the seed stage but they aren’t that savvy imo. That’s been my experience anyway.
