Sunil, thank you for taking this step of framing the problem and beginning to scaffold potential solutions. I’m up to my eyeballs in startup work, but this topic is something for which I have passion, and I would love to help.

On the social remedies side, we should also be thinking about propagating a new kind of media literacy. Or perhaps a replacement for media literacy. Something that is quite specific to truth-literacy, or fact-literacy, or news-reporting-standards. Probably some material to borrow from Journalism education. We need to help people think/analyze like a news reporter, and sometimes act like a well-trained, thoughtful reporter. But without requiring a four-year degree from Northwestern or Columbia.
