What is The Rosie Collection: An American Tour? Well, put simply, it is the first NFT project ever run by us: Biker Babes. We are running this NFT project to build a community around charity and innovation, allowing us to kick off Web 3 with a positive start.
An NFT is a non-fungible token. Simply put, they are digital items that are purchased, traded and sold on the blockchain. A blockchain is a digital ledger that records all these transactions. NFTs can come as solo pieces or as part of a collection. If you are interested in NFTs but don’t quite understand all the jargon and tech explanations, Christian Jensen wrote a fantastic article that simply explains NFTs without the tech.
The Rosie Collection: An American Tour consists of 9245 uniquely generated NFTs with legendaries hidden in the collection. There are 9245 NFTs in The Rosie Collection to reflect the 9245km Rosie will travel in her tour of America. This consists of 9 traits and several unique variations, including changes to her hair, facial expression, clothing, motorcycle colour, motorcycle mods, and Rosie’s location.
Rosie’s American tour travels across America’s key biking destinations and more famous roads. These background locations are based on the key destinations of Rosie’s tour of America, including:
- The grand canyon (Arizona)
- Route 66 (Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California)
- Going to the sun (Montanna)
- Rosie’s garage (Nebraska)
The Rosie Collection is our first NFT project, but there is always room for more. We have already started planning our second NFT project which will continue this motorcycle tour theme. This second NFT project will feature Amelia, another Biker Babe who is looking to explore the key destinations and motorcycle hotspots in Europe.
