I am a social media addict and I quit for a month. Here’s my story.

Bravo, this is the same phase I have gone through. Social media creates an avatar of yourself in the virtual world and it needs constant validation and affirmation to keep your avatar alive! Have you ever wondered how many of your friends remember your birthday if you remove your DOB on Facebook, Skype, or Gmail? They are constantly relying on social media for those simple events! Also, what happens if your loved ones are on those social media? How would you keep them approved that they are high priority over your other friends? It’s just a disaster waiting to happen!

It’s better if we keep a low profile on social media, commenting less on others’ activities and sharing your ideas there as well. I would rather start a blog and have my friends follow me there, if I need my ideas to be heard.
