I’m waiting to see what offerings Apple has up its sleeve tomorrow, and agree that smartphones *and* computational photography are eating a big chunk of market share in the industry. I am still after a Nikon D500, though, for action and birding as mentioned, as that is where the DSLRs and mirrorless still shine. Thank you for an interesting read!
