Excellent article Umair. I loved it. I had reached some of these conclusions myself having been in business and done business in many parts of the world.
But by no stretch of the imagination could I explain it and analyze it as well as you have done here. The USA is to me basically driven by the almighty dollar as its key objective instead of more humanitarian aspects of society. That is why they have a lousy health care system, that is why they have a senseless attitude to guns. In part, it is also the USA “loner” attitude which is senseless to me.
I enjoy making money but have never done it in a way where it will hurt others. Most American businesses do not care at all about hurting people (just like their current leader).
Luckily I was born in the UK and saw much of the best things in Europe that you mentioned but I emigrated to Canada and love it there. I would never live in the USA (primarily for the reasons you mention) although I have many American friends and have spent quite a bit of time there.
Keep up the great writing and watch out for the daylight :-)
