Election of the Narcissists

“Sanders traffics in empty labels, claiming to own the crown of the progressive and the right to decide who may wear it (answer: only himself).” Huh. He’s never said this. I guess I can assume this statement is just sour grapes from a sore Clinton supporter?

“The farther to the left Sanders pushes Hillary Clinton and the more he weakens her campaign, the more he helps open the White House door to a right-wing demagogue. Ralph Nader gave us George Bush. Bernie Sanders could help give us Donald Trump or Ted Cruz.” Correction: Al Gore gave us George W. Bush. Al Gore was a terrible candidate. He was the hand picked successor for Clinton and he was a terrible candidate that couldn’t win his home state. Yeah there was that stuff in Florida, but if he had been a better candidate it wouldn’t have been close enough for that to even happen. The same goes for Clinton, she’s a terrible candidate, and if she wins the nomination and loses the general, and she probably will because she’s also a Gore level terrible candidate, that’s on her and nobody else. You can pretend that Clinton is a great candidate all day long but if she can’t even win over a majority in her own party, if she’s tone deaf enough to know that condescension isn’t a good way to convince young women to vote for her. Then she’s a bad candidate and will lose badly against any Republican in the general. But, hey, go ahead and blame Bernie for that if it makes you feel better.
