What the Health is What’s Going on Here

By now many have seen the documentary on Netflix called, What the Health.

With high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and recovering from my back surgery, I watched it just over three weeks ago while having a double Big Mac combo vegging out on my bed.

Oddly vegging out includes no vegetables lol.

This documentary should win an award, because it touches on every aspect of how the planet is affected and each of us are individually and collectively.

As a heavy meat eater for all my life at 45 years old I went on a plant based diet lifestyle the next morning, and already in 3 weeks my chronic medical issues are decreasing rapidly.

I know. It Sounds like an infomercial I know lol but all true. And I didn’t produce. the film, but it has produced a better me.

I have watched it five times now over the past three weeks and each time I notice something new because there are so many factors and variables of life it touches on including poor income families literally dying from living near high output large corporate pig farms.

In the end, this documentary just makes you think about things differently outside if the matrix of commerce.

Many times we base our knowledge on what is sold to us in the best interest of others financially.

Like who knew a Wendy’s and or any fast food commercial showing off a hamburger with bacon and cheese wasn’t even paid for by the fast food company, but free advertising paid for by tax paid dollars funded by the dairy and meat farmers association.

And yes I love a baconator!

And then there is the notion of going back to local farming, which makes total sense.

It is simple logic but not good at all for big farms or big pharma making money from our chronic issues we are creating ourselves.

Watch this documentary and if have already, what it again.

It is the best documentary I have seen on this topic out of the hundreds I have watched for solutions over the years.

And again, I love dairy and meat.

So this is not a biased opinion.

Also I am not a born again.

I know I won’t die if I eat burger.

I did recently.

After two weeks I had a baconator my Wendy’s weakness! And it tasted good. But, my heart started to accelerate as if I had drank a bucket of caffeine, I couldn’t sleep that night and I had a lot of issues with my stomach and gas.

I realized I just had become used to that feeling.

Going plant based for just 3 weeks, excel t for that moment of weakness, and Not junk food vegan, but really clean plant based eating has already almost completely reversed my type 2 diabetic numbers in my blood test yesterday to the point that my physician of 20 years said, ‘if I didn’t know your medical history I wouldn’t know you are a type 2 diabetic at all!’

I think, in my humble opinion, while nothing is. perfect, and we are all mortal beings, plant based consumption, of fruit, vegetables, legumes, nuts etc, do not cause inflammation like my beloved medium rare steaks and grilled salmons do.

Ultimately I truly believe as a human product of it, that very high meat/fish/chicken. consumption leads to a lot of inflammation.

Stop and think about it.

Whenever you think of almost every chronic disease, it’s root is always traced back to inflammatory symptoms somewhere in the body.

If you don’t feel good and are unhealthy please just try the plant based way and I really do not miss eating meat at all because of how good I feel after only 3 weeks!

With love
