Dave, this is my first introduction to the empathy map. Thank you. It is a fantastic piece of thinking. It as an incredibly valuable tool for every part of an organization. There is element / question I might add particularly if the goal is influence / persuasion, perhaps, it is already implicitly addressed under “what other thoughts and feelings might motivate their behavior?” I would also want to consider “what are their constraints?” Whether they are organizational constraints or their own self imposed constraints. Constraints can sometimes explain behavior that we otherwise, can’t not figure out…
