The Death of the Internet

Once again the industry itself is the reason for its own downfall. At a time when Internet usage is at an all time high the tech industry is shaking in its reboots.

How marketers, employers, media, coders, content creators, and others are blindly working to destroy and/or render useless the most remarkable communications tool ever imagined.

Recently I was looking at one of those websites where employees rate the companies they work for and discovered that one such ‘employee’ had rated 98 companies as being great companies. Another ‘employee’ had rated 32. Of course, that left me to ponder why they left if those employers were so great.

How can one trust reviews like that? More importantly, why would anyone spend their time writing fake reviews if not for pay?

I remember a time when the Internet was filled with small online communities filled with users who were every bit as amazed with what we were doing as was I.
