What Really Happened To Brian And Gabby?

Are you the sort that just falls in with the crowd when it comes to big news stories, or are you the sort who asks questions, the where, when, who, what, how, and why? I’m am.

Currently most of the nation is under the assumption that Brian Laundrie murdered Gabby Petito. Perhaps he did. There is plenty of circumstantial evidence that, on the surface, suggests that is exactly what happened but to date I’ve read or heard nothing that would convict Brian Laundrie for the murder of Gabby Petito.

Did you ever stop to wonder if perhaps Brian was running away from Gabby’s killer when he returned to Florida?

I’m not claiming that is actually what happened but based on what little we really know it is just as plausible as anything else. After all, a lot of questions have yet to be answered, questions like:

Travel is expensive, how were the two of them able to earn enough money to travel?

Were they actually making that much money from YouTube videos and working online, or was the money coming from somewhere else?

His parents? Her parents? We all assume, but do we know?

In reality, what I’m suggesting makes perfect sense until proven wrong.

Why would Brian kill Gabby? Sure, Brian appears to be abusive, but most abusers don’t murder anyone.

It was Gabby that made their videos popular, did Brian not know Gabby was his meal ticket?

How was Gabby killed? Has a coroner released a cause of death?

What was the murder weapon?

When did Gabby die — what day, what time?

Where exactly did Gabby die? Oh sure, we know where her body was found but was that where she died?

Who killed Gabby can only be answered when all those other questions have been answered.

Perhaps Gabby and Brian saw something someone else didn’t want them to see, Gabby was killed, and Brian ran in fear for his life. Or not.

Sure, Brian refused to talk with the cops, but if Brian were involved in some sort of illegal enterprise he might also wish to avoid speaking with police — would he not? Brian was never actually charged with Gabby’s murder even though he remains a person of interest.

Brian was known to have gone to his parent’s house in Florida, but that only proves he went to his parent’s house in Florida — nothing more.

Brian is said to have spent months living off the land in the Appalachian Mountains, but living alone in the mountains doesn’t bring in any money — how did he and Gabby afford to buy their 2012 Ford Transit Connect van and convert it to a camper? NADA Blue Book value on a stripped-down 2012 Transit bare bones exceeds $8,000 — how much was it 2 or 3 years before?

Have you priced the cost of campgrounds, motels, and restaurants these days? Free campsites are rare and paid sites can run as high as $100 a night. Traveling the country isn’t cheap these days. As a matter of fact it is far cheaper to stay at home even though lots of YouTubers might try to convince you otherwise.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office posted to Facebook, “No one — and nothing — of note was located.”

I’d love to hear your thoughts, but to date we still don’t know. Was Gabby, a former waitress in Wilmington, North Carolina, involved in something she should not have been doing?

Was Brian, who had apparently spent much of his adult life unemployed, able to afford such a lifestyle by a legitimate means? Was Gabby?

How do Brian and Gabby’s parents earn their livings?

Too many questions remain unanswered to decide — questions we can only hope to someday answer.
